Temi Adebambo is a cybersecurity executive leader whose work at Microsoft Gaming, as General Manager and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), involves protecting a global community of over 500 million monthly active players. Overseeing security across some of the world’s most well-known titles—including Xbox, Call of Duty, Halo, World of Warcraft, Candy Crush, Minecraft, Fallout, Diablo, Doom, and Indiana Jones—Temi ensures resilient defenses and proactive threat response for the company’s extensive gaming ecosystem. With over two decades of experience in information technology, he has delivered impactful results across various sectors, including technology, gaming, life sciences, financial services, and consumer and industrial products.

Temi is widely recognized for his ability to lead enterprise-wide technology transformations, steer complex security operations, and build product and platform solutions from initial concept through successful delivery. His expertise covers a range of critical security areas, including cloud security, application security, identity and access management, data protection, privacy, and incident response. He is proficient in industry frameworks and compliance standards, including HITRUST, NIST, FedRAMP, ITIL, PCI DSS, SOC 2, and ISO 27001. Fortune 500 corporations trust him to develop and manage secure, compliant cloud environments.

Committed to continuous professional development, Temi holds an array of certifications across AWS, GCP, and Azure. His leadership and influence in the cybersecurity field have been recognized with awards such as the CISO Connect Top 100 Accelerated CISOs Award, which he received in both 2024 and 2025. As a respected thought leader, he regularly shares insights at industry events and is scheduled to speak at upcoming conferences, including Black Hat MEA and the Transformational National CISO Assembly.

Temi’s early years in Lagos, Nigeria, taught him to value adaptability, resourcefulness, and innovation—a foundation that has guided his leadership approach. Moving to the United States marked a pivotal moment, providing opportunities for advanced education and experience in the global tech landscape, which enriched his perspective and commitment to driving positive change in cybersecurity.

Before joining Microsoft Gaming, Temi Adebambo held significant roles, including Global Head of Security Solutions Architecture at Amazon Web Services and Senior Manager of Cyber Risk Services at Deloitte, where he led paramount cloud security and transformation initiatives. He began his professional journey as a Microsoft Ambassador, promoting technology in technical communities. Beyond his professional life, Temi is dedicated to giving back, serving on the board of the National Cybersecurity Society, and volunteering with Big Brothers Big Sisters of America and Habitat for Humanity. He earned a BS in Computer Engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Master’s in Global Leadership from the University of San Diego. He completed executive education at Harvard Business School.
